Hello my friends! I’ve recently announced a brand new addition to my Substack publication: The Road We Trod subscriber chat.
This is a conversation space exclusively for subscribers—kind of like a group chat or live hangout. I’ll post questions and updates that come my way, and you can jump into the discussion. I’d love for you to join me here so I can be sure to create the sort of travel content you’d like to see for 2025 and beyond.
I recently inquired about the destinations you’d like to see Black travel guides for next year, with a focus on domestic cities and towns. I got so many wonderful suggestions and would love to keep the conversation flowing! Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
